Os mandatos coletivos são um fenômeno recente na história da política institucional brasileira. Eles consistem, basicamente – apesar das muitas variações possíveis – em um grupo de pessoas que ocupa coletivamente um espaço institucional em qualquer esfera e, de maneira democrática e participativa (diferente do poder centralizado no parlamentar que é a prática corrente da política tradicional) decidem os rumos daquele mandato: como votarão determinadas matérias, que projetos de lei apresentarão, e como será utilizada a estrutura do mandato.

No nosso caso, temos um grupo de 11 pessoas membros de um conselho que se reunirá periodicamente para decidir o que for preciso, mas apenas uma delas (Djalma Nery) será oficialmente o parlamentar eleito.

Adilson é paulistano, tem 54 anos e mudou-se para São Carlos em 1998 para trabalhar com Animador Cultural no SESC. Em 2003 passou em um concurso público na FESC para trabalhar com educação de idosos, na área temática Cultura e Memória. É autor de 53 livros abordando temas espiritualistas, para a terceira idade e infanto-juvenis. Atua em vários coletivos na cidade de São Carlos, entre eles, o Coletivo Librum que une os escritores radicados em São Carlos.

Ludmila tem 26 anos, é negra, lésbica e estudou 3 anos de Ecologia na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Trabalhou com educação ambiental em escolas da rede pública e na comunidade, restauração da caatinga e pesquisou sobre interação de formiga e plantas. Atualmente cursa graduação em Gestão e Análise Ambiental na Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) e está a frente de uma ONG em seu bairro (Cidade Aracy), com o intuito de promover a aproximação da comunidade pela leitura, educação ambiental e outros.

Lídia Moura

Lídia tem 29 anos, é gestora e analista ambiental (UFSCar), mestre em ciências e doutoranda em ciências (USP – Saneamento) com enfoque em controle de Aedes aegypti. Foi professora de biologia em cursinho comunitário da UFSCar e atuou com projetos de divulgação científica ao longo da graduação.
